KALAMAZOO LAKE - WC-03-92-001 - Slow--no wake speed.

On the waters of Kalamazoo lake, city of Saugatuck, Allegan county, from a point created by an extension of the south side of Mason street and the shore then west to the opposite shore, then south along the shore to the intersection of the south side of Interlochen street extended, then easterly to the point where the extended center of Butler street intersects the shore, then west and north along the shore to the point of beginning, it is unlawful for the operator of any vessel to exceed a slow--no wake speed.

On the waters of Kalamazoo Lake, starting at a point from the water’s edge, 342 feet from the center of the Sergeants Marina Dock, as it extends 240 feet in all directions, all within the city of Saugatuck, Allegan county, state of Michigan, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow—no wake speed.

The boundaries of the area described immediately above shall be marked with signs and with buoys. All Buoys must be placed as provided in a permit issued by the Department of Natural Resources and be in conformance with the State Uniform Waterway Marking System.
