LAKE LANCELOT - R281.726.1 - Slow--no wake speed zone.

1. On the waters of Lake Lancelot and the canals and channels connected thereto, sections 16, 17, and 20, T20N, R1W, Butman township, Gladwin county, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow--no wake speed when within 100 feet of any shore, dock, raft, buoyed or occupied bathing area, or vessel moored or at anchor, except when water skiers are being picked up or dropped off if that operation is otherwise conducted with due regard to the safety of persons and property and in accordance with the laws of this state.

LAKE LANCELOT - WC-26-95-002 - Hours for high-speed boating.

On the waters of Lake Lancelot, all within sections 15, 16, 17, 20, 21, and 29, T19N, T20N, R1W, Butman township, Gladwin county, it is unlawful between the hours of 6:30 p.m. and 10.00 a.m. of the following day to:

(a) Operate a vessel at high speed.

(b) Have in tow, or otherwise assist in the propulsion of, a person on water skis, a water sled, kite, surfboard, or other similar contrivance.

The hours should be 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 a.m. of the following day when Eastern Daylight Savings Time is in effect. "High-speed boating" is defined by the Marine Safety Act to mean a speed at or above which a motorboat reaches a planing condition.
