| Narrative Description |
The James A Garfield School, is a red-brick, two-story, rectangular, Late Victorian building with a hip roof. The principal feature of the school's symmetrical facade is a centrally positioned, partly projecting, square, hip roof, entrance tower with a deeply recessed, arched entranceway in its base. The front facade is organized into five bays. Its two end bays and central bay project outward while the other two recede.
