| Narrative Description |
The William Armstrong House is an asymmetrical-planned, two-and-one-half-story, cross-gabled, Queen Anne clapboarded-and-shingled structure, now clad in grey asbestos siding. A veranda, supported by Tuscan columns rising from panelled pedestals, shelters the entire front at the first-floor level. Dentils and modillion bands decorate the porch and main cornice. An unusual feature of the house's front is the panelled treatment with an oval fanlight in the center of the wall surface between the second-story front windows beneath the gable. An asphalt-shingled roof crowns the structure.
